How to Use It?
✅ No batteries or charging required, simply plug in the device to begin treatments. Bring the machine close to the target area, so it is perpendicular to the skin, and apply the laser light treatment. With 5 levels of light pulse intensity, you can customize the treatment to suit your level of hair growth.
✅ How Often do I Need to Use It?
We recommend using your handset once a week for the first 12 weeks. After this period use your handset once a month, for 3 months or until satisfied. To maintain hairless smooth skin, use your handset once every 2 to 3 months, or as needed.

You can use your handset on your entire body, including your face (just be sure to not get too close to your eyes, we recommend wearing sunglasses while using it).

We always advise that you exercise caution when treating yourself as not everyone is suitable for IPL treatments. Due to the level of melanin in the skin, some darker skin types will not be able to use IPL. The same applies if you have a recent tan. Additionally, we advise to check with your doctor first if you are taking medication that may make your skin sensitive to light. People with Epilepsy should not use this product as the IPL has a bright flash.
5. How long does it take before I see the results?

6. Does IPL hurt?
👉 Most IPL users face some discomfort akin to a rubber band being flicked. However, comparative to other treatments offered, IPL is much more tolerable and very popular.
7. Do I need to wear eye protection?
👉 No, it isn't necessary to wear eye protection while using our handset. Our handsets are fitted with a sensor and will not pulse and light unless the entire window is pressed against your skin. That being said you should never try and look directly into the light as it flashes. People with Epilepsy should not use this product as the IPL has a bright flash.

👉 Yes, you should shave the desired areas before using your handset.
10. Which hair removal methods can I use between treatments?
👉 Between treatments you should only shave when required. You should never wax, pluck, or epilate as these hair removal methods removes the entire root, which is what absorbs the light during the treatment.
11. Does IPL work for all skin tones?
👉 IPL is suitable for all but the darkest skin tones. Refer to the skin tone chart below to see whether or not IPL is suitable for you. The IPL handset is suitable for skin tones fair to warm tan. If you have a skin tone of warm tan, we do advise to only use on Intensity level 1 and start by patch testing the IPL handset on Intensity level 1. Leccio advises for everyone to start on Intensity level 1 and to always patch test before starting your treatments and when changing intensity level.
12. Is it safe to use IPL while pregnancy or breastfeeding?
👉 Although there is no evidence showing that IPL has negative effects on pregnant or breastfeeding women, we still don’t recommend using our handset as a precaution.
13. Is it safe to use IPL over moles, freckles or tattoo?
👉 You should not IPL over very dark freckles or moles, however light freckles are fine. You should not IPL over tattoos. However, going around tattoos is fine.
14. Can I use this product before or after tanning?
👉 If you have recently been tanning, we recommend waiting 2 weeks before using your handset. You should wait 48 hours to tan after using your handset. Artificial tan should not be on your skin while using your handset.
